If you see any of these with which you'd like to be involved, it's easy to join. Below are a few highlighted ministries.
College and Young Singles
We have a very active group of college students from several area universities. They gather Sundays at 9:15am for class, and usually get together at least once per week for various activities including fun activities and Bible studies. If you are here in Corpus Christi for college, this is the group for you!
Rainbow Express pre school is one of our finest ministries. With a history spanning 40+ years, we have been privileged to help shape thousands of lives. This pre-school program uses Biblically-based curriculum with some of the best methods available, informed by modern learning theory. Your children will grow in developmentally-appropriate ways with the help of our loving staff.
KXY is our Kings Crossing Youth Ministry. The youth gather regularly for Bible class, small groups at people's homes, random fun trips and events, local area youth rallies, Christian concerts, mission trips and much more! Those between 6th and 12th grade can plug in here to grow their commitment to Christ.
FaithBuilders is a group for young adults singles and married couples with children still at home. They meet Sundays at 9:15am in the fellowship hall for Bible study and prayer. Throughout the year they have gatherings to promote friendship and fellowship among our younger families. Come visit us, and be sure to ask when the next Food Truck Sunday will be!
The 49ers Ministry is a highly active group of senior adults. They regularly gather for meals, banquets, and celebrations. They also take trips to places of interest. Most importantly, they work together to serve the community, as well as several beloved charitable organizations. They maintain their own website with a list of upcoming events. Have a look!
Our Compassion Ministry actively seeks out the most significant needs in our community, and puts together strategic plans for how we can help. One of the ways we do this is through our involvement in the Care Portal network. Care Portal works with local case workers to identify legitimit needs of children, and then communicates to a network of churches to see who can help meet these needs. Often this involves items like a bed or clothing, which can make an enormous difference in the life of a family who needs them.
